Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of related delivery driving experience
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of employment
  • Satisfactory driving record over a rolling 36-month period
  • Ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification
  • Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and lawfully
  • Physical capability to lift and transport loads up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Capacity to perform repetitive lifting, climbing, standing, and walking
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Commitment to core values and standard operating procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of delivery or related driving experience
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory 36-month driving record
  • Ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification
  • Experience using POD or tablet devices for scanning
  • Basic product knowledge
  • Knowledge of operation of power/mobile equipment
  • Effective communication skills in English, bilingualism a plus
  • Geographical knowledge of delivery service area after training

Job Duties

  • Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and lawful manner
  • Responsible for vehicle and its contents while following standard procedures
  • Complete daily pre and post trip checklist
  • Deliver product to customer locations meeting established delivery goals
  • Collect and track customer returns through service level agreements
  • Load, unload and secure products to ensure damage-free delivery
  • Complete daily route and paperwork
  • Communicate obstacles and customer feedback to relevant personnel
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements using LEAN practices
  • Actively support continuous improvement initiatives in delivery processes
