Job Requirements
- Meet minimum age requirement of 21 years old
- Possess a current valid driver’s license
- Hold current valid automobile insurance with own name on policy
- Have physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds (75 pounds for Auto Body Parts Collision drivers)
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Ability to use mobile navigation and tracking devices
- Maintain a safe driving record
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule with potential overtime
- Able to follow direction and work as part of a team
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Current valid driver’s license
- Must be 21 years or older to meet insurance requirements
- Current valid automobile insurance with name on policy
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds, 75 pounds for Auto Body Parts Collision drivers
- Ability to manage and account for money transactions
- Use a tablet or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking and customer interface
- Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
- Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime preferred
- Previous delivery driving experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly and courteous manner
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete, charges are correct, and customer satisfaction
- Take and follow directions from dispatcher, adhere to assigned routes and schedules, use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver packages on time
- Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without interfering with customer operations
- Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and professionally handle complaints and concerns
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Accept payments, prepare reports including invoices and return forms, reconcile debt and credit related to deliveries
- Complete daily maintenance checks on company vehicle and notify manager of any issues
- Assist with store and warehouse duties as assigned including stock and parts pulling
- Maintain and promote workplace safety
- Secure and transfer cash or other assets
