Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent GED
- valid state-issued driver’s license
- class C (non-CDL) license required
- minimum 2 years of safe driving
- 1-3 years customer-facing experience
- ability to lift and carry 75 lbs unassisted regularly
- proficiency with hand truck and basic assembly
- excellent communication skills
- willingness to obtain forklift certification
- ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime
- must pass drug screen, physical including DOT medical card, background check, and motor vehicle record check
- must complete pre-employment background check and sign nondisclosure agreement
- subject to random and post-accident drug screening
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent GED
- 2+ years work experience driving is a plus
- 1-3 years of successful experience in customer-facing roles
- valid state-issued driver’s license
- minimum 2 years of safe driving required, preferred 5+ years driving experience
- class C (non-CDL) license required
- ability to lift and carry 75 lbs unassisted regularly
- excellent communication skills
- proficiency in using hand truck and basic furniture assembly
- ability to safely operate small power tools
- willingness to obtain forklift certification
- ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime
- must complete pre-employment drug screen, physical, background and motor vehicle record check
- ability to maintain DOT and driving certifications if applicable
Job Duties
- deliver exceptional customer service and experience
- act as the brand ambassador while on the road and during deliveries
- provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service while delivering products
- bring solutions including furniture assembly or repairs as needed
- develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge to assist customers
- drive large box trucks safely and courteously while following all traffic laws and safety procedures
- maintain a timely delivery schedule and communicate with customers to confirm delivery details
- inspect delivery vehicles pre and post trip to ensure top condition
- maintain accurate delivery logs and records, comply with DOT regulations
- ensure safe and professional transport and delivery of products, including following safety procedures during loading, unloading, and transport
- safely load and unload merchandise, assemble furniture, affix tickets, and prepare merchandise for delivery
- review and verify invoices and purchase requests
- maintain accurate inventory for efficient merchandise flow
- remove packaging materials and debris to ensure clean deliveries
- assist with showroom changes, tagging merchandise, and maintaining displays in showroom and backroom
- greet clients and answer phones professionally
- drive long distances and overnight stays as needed
- perform other duties or special projects as assigned
