Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- valid and current driver's license in the state of residency
- minimum of 3 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle
- physically able and willing to move furniture indoors, outdoors, up or down stairs and in all weather conditions
- ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner
- ability to comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations including reading and speaking English, maintaining a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate, passing physical and drug screening, passing road test per FMCSA/CORT standards
- acceptable motor vehicle report per CORT safe driving standards
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including regular weekends, nights, and/or early mornings
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- valid and current driver's license in the state of residency
- minimum of 3 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle, 1 year preferred
- physically able and willing to move furniture indoors and outdoors including stairs and in all weather conditions
- ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner
- ability to comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations including reading and speaking English sufficiently, maintaining a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate, passing physical and drug screening, passing road test per FMCSA/CORT requirements, and acceptable driving record per CORT safe driving standards
Job Duties
- Inspect furniture to ensure acceptable condition and load truck safely to protect products from damage during transport
- attend pre-delivery meetings to review logistics, timelines, and client expectations
- maintain communication with operations team and district service representatives
- complete pre and post trip truck inspections and maintain trucks
- complete all required written documentation and operate electronic logging devices accurately
- drive box trucks or sprinter vans safely and lawfully
- install and assemble furniture at trade show or event venues based on floor plans or client instructions
- clean, touch up, or repair furniture as needed
- inspect furniture for damage during pick-ups and ensure no product is left behind at venues
- provide professional onsite customer service by addressing client questions or concerns
- supervise temporary associates in delivery, pick-up, loading, and unloading tasks ensuring safety and client satisfaction
- perform warehouse duties including loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, and cleaning products
- perform other duties as assigned
