Job Requirements
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Current medical certification
- Clean driving record
- Ability to perform physical lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain logs
- Ability to follow local, state, and federal traffic and safety regulations
- Ability to use PC and basic software
- Drug-free and pass criminal background and motor vehicle record checks
- Ability to adhere to company policies and safety standards
- Willingness to perform warehouse and delivery duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Two years of work experience preferred
- Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products and systems preferred
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles
- Current medical certification
- Clean driving record
- Working knowledge of PC for Windows and Internet
- SAP software knowledge is a plus
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills in English
- Ability to plan and organize effectively
- Competent, accurate, responsive, and engaged work ethic
Job Duties
- Provide delivery of material to Border States branches and customer sites based on business needs
- Maintain delivery vehicle clean and in good working condition and monitor maintenance and mileage data
- Schedule DOT/state mandated inspections as required
- Maintain daily driver logs and vehicle inspection sheets
- Complete truck summaries, driver logs, and other backup details daily
- Load and unload material at branch and customer locations
- Perform warehouse functions including order filling, stocking shelves, processing returns, receiving and shipping as needed
