Job Requirements
- Valid drivers' license with a safe driving record acceptable to the company
- Eligible to drive commercial motor vehicle under applicable laws
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen with no THC
- Obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and push/pull up to 400 pounds with assistance
- Ability to occasionally maneuver up to 130 pounds
- Ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift including overtime
- Must wear safety composite shoes
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 1-year truck driving experience operating 16ft or longer straight truck or comparable experience
- High volume package delivery experience
- Basic English language skills both verbal and written
- Ability to use GPS and mobile proof of delivery devices
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Job Duties
- Transport products safely to customers on assigned route
- Load truck based on volume when necessary
- Organize and load product using the manifest for efficient delivery routing
- Ensure safe work practices and promote safety culture
- Provide customer support and manage product returns
- Use GPS and mobile proof of delivery devices
- Maintain cleanliness and perform pre-trip vehicle inspections
