Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 6 plus months tractor trailer driving experience
- Valid CDL-A and must be 21 plus years of age
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT health card or able to secure new DOT health card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and stack product cases/freight

Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Inspect tractor truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and report all safety issues and repairs needed
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Immediately report all safety hazards and inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count check of loaded items and verify customer invoices
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
- Unload products and transport items into designated customer storage areas
- Perform damage control checks on items and contact supervisor about order removals
- Verify delivery with customer and obtain proper signatures
- Collect money where required
- Load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns, complete necessary paperwork
- Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clean
- Complete daily hours of service records and log according to Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned
