Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or over
- Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy
- Ability to lift, move, push or pull up to 50 pounds or 75 pounds for Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers
- Prolonged sitting ability
- Must meet company insurance requirements
- Meet all minimum requirements, qualifications, knowledge, skills and abilities to be eligible
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Qualifications
- Current valid driver's license
- Ability to utilize a tablet or mobile device for navigation and customer interface
- Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow directions
- Previous delivery driving experience is preferred
- Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime
- Ability to manage money transactions and reconcile balances
Job Duties
- Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly and courteous manner
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness, correct charges, and customer satisfaction
- Take and follow directions from dispatcher, adhere to assigned routes and time schedules, use navigation apps and alternative routes as needed
- Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without disrupting customer operations
- Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and professionally handle complaints and concerns
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Accept payments, prepare invoices and reports, reconcile debt and credit related to deliveries
- Complete daily vehicle maintenance checks and notify manager of issues
- Assist in store or warehouse duties such as stocking and parts pulling
- Maintain and promote workplace safety
- Secure and transfer cash or other assets
