Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or delivery preferred
- valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- ability to lift and carry moderate weight
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- basic math skills
- good communication skills
- physical ability to navigate multi-story buildings and other delivery sites while carrying products
- ability to handle telephone and computerized order processing
Job Qualifications
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to make correct monetary change
- basic computer skills including entering orders on keyboard or touch screen
- motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for speed and precision
- navigational skills to use maps and locate addresses in delivery area
- customer service skills for effective communication with customers and co-workers
Job Duties
- Operate all equipment
- stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler
- prepare product
- receive and process telephone orders
- take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- clean equipment and facility approximately daily
- deliver product by car and then to door of customer
- deliver flyers and door hangers
- use motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- read maps and locate addresses within designated delivery area
- communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
