Job Requirements

  • Be between 21 and 75 years of age
  • live within 25 miles of zip code 55420
  • own a reliable and registered car, SUV, or minivan (2010 or newer)
  • maintain state minimum auto insurance coverage for bodily injury and property damage
  • maintain or enroll in workers compensation or Occupational Accident Insurance program
  • sign up with an EIN as a company or US Social Security Number as sole proprietorship
  • complete contractor screening and online delivery preparation modules
  • have a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
  • possess an iPhone or Android smartphone
  • supply a cooler with reusable ice packs for temperature medical specimens
  • willing to drive in inclement weather
  • adhere to customer professional appearance standards (solid white or light blue polo shirt, solid colored pants, comfortable shoes, 1099 contractor ID)

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous delivery or courier experience preferred
  • reliable and registered vehicle (car, SUV, or minivan) from 2010 or newer
  • clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the last three years
  • ability to use GPS technology and smartphone apps
  • strong attention to detail
  • professional demeanor and appearance
  • ability to work flexible hours Sunday through Saturday

Job Duties

  • Pick up and deliver pharmacy medications and medical supplies
  • adhere to assigned routed delivery schedules which may change based on customer needs
  • respond to STAT or on-demand delivery requests quickly
  • serve as a backup or standby courier to fill in during increased delivery volumes
  • maintain professional appearance standards
  • use smartphone for GPS tracking and order scanning
  • transport temperature-controlled specimens using a cooler with ice packs
