Job Requirements
- junior high school diploma
- six months experience in warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving or delivery
- ability to assemble, process and tabulate data
- ability to provide guidance, assistance, and/or interpretation regarding procedures
- ability to operate equipment, machinery, tools, and materials
- ability to communicate verbally
- ability to perform basic mathematical operations
- ability to follow written, oral, and diagrammatic instructions
- ability to exercise good judgment and creativity in repetitive tasks
- ability to perform physically demanding labor including lifting heavy objects
- ability to work in varying environmental conditions
Job Qualifications
- junior high school diploma or equivalent
- six months experience in distribution or warehouse environment, shipping/receiving or delivering merchandise
- ability to operate equipment and tools requiring complex and rapid adjustments
- ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness, and creativity in repetitive tasks
- ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form
- good verbal communication skills
- ability to provide guidance and assistance to others regarding procedures
- physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting up to and exceeding 100 pounds
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- knowledge of customer service principles
Job Duties
- places stock on shelves or racks and sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays
- performs general maintenance and grounds keeping duties for warehouse and/or store
- unloads merchandise from warehouse and freight trucks
- ensures safe operations of vehicles by assisting delivery truck drivers with directing trucks into unloading areas
- records deliveries on delivery record and submits to appropriate management
- loads truck in preparation for daily deliveries
- assists with delivery, unloading and set-up
- obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
- assists with repossessions of goods
- assembles merchandise as required
- performs customer service inspections and repairs as needed
- maintains cleanliness of store/warehouse interior and grounds and upholds the company’s Delivery Standards

- assists in other store departments as required
- performs other related duties as required
