Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work full-time shifts including nights and weekends
- Willingness to comply with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety protocols
- Basic math and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in deli or bakery operations is an advantage
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic food safety knowledge or willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- Engage with customers at the service counter providing excellent customer service
- Move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor promptly
- Clean and maintain deli and bakery areas to meet food safety standards
- Adhere to Walmart policies and procedures including drug-free workplace standards
- Participate in inventory management and stock rotation
- Assist fellow team members as needed to ensure efficient store operations
