Job Requirements
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions independently
- Ability to work at a fast paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to stand walk lift bend push/pull for long durations
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
- Willingness to adhere to safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age due to required operation of Deli equipment
- Eagerness to interact with customers
- Strong sense of team with ability to anticipate team needs
- Ability to work in a fast paced and efficient manner
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions independently under general supervision
- Excellent time management prioritization and organization skills
- Ability to stand walk lift bend push/pull for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
Job Duties
- Serve customers in the Deli Department while modeling Sendik's culture and providing best in class customer service including greeting engaging delighting and thanking every guest for their business
- Wash sanitize dry and put away all dishes and utensils
- Empty and load the dishwasher
- Clean equipment including dishwasher Grind 2 Energy machine and deli slicers
- Clean Deli Department including counter tops floors hot/cold bar and deli cases
- Assist with the training and mentoring of new associates in the Deli Department
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety/sanitation regulations and procedures
- Assist with all other Deli Department duties as needed
