Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service preferred
- ability to stand and walk throughout shift
- physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- basic math skills
- good communication skills
- pass background check
- complete Florida Responsible Vendor program
- obtain food safety certification
- flexible availability
- able to work weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Can physically stand and walk 100% of shift
- able to reach, bend, stoop frequently
- able to deliver plates and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
- ability to speak, read and write English
- ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
- complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
- complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
- ability to work flexible hours
- able to work in a fast paced environment
Job Duties
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food and drink running, etc. as needed
- be knowledgeable regarding food and beverage menus and items, current promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions clearly
- accurately enter orders into POS system
- retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area and deliver them to guests promptly
- collect guests’ payments, ensure transactions are correct using POS, calculate and deliver correct change promptly
- perform shift changes, opening and closing duties, assigned sidework
- pack and verify all ToGo orders with guests
- greet guests at the curbside pickup area
