Job Requirements
- possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residence
- pass a clean 7-year criminal background check
- pass a clean 3-year driving background check
- pass a drug screen
- be 21 years or older
- reliable transportation to and from work
- availability to work any day Sunday through Saturday
- must be available before and after major holidays including weekends
- ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and stretch during up to 10-hour shifts
- ability to operate and navigate a van up to GVWR 10,000 lbs
- ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 50 pounds
- capable of moving up and down stairs
- successfully pass a 4 panel drug test and criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior professional driving experience preferred
- proven track record of reliability and attendance
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- proficient in English sufficient to meet US DOT standards
- holds high ethical standards
Job Duties
- adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road
- interact in a positive and professional manner with customers and the general public
- follow up on customer requests or problems with a solution-oriented approach
- use handheld technology to deliver packages and manage delivery progress
- sort and prepare delivery routes
- ensure delivery vehicles are clean, fueled, and in good operating condition
- carry out delivery station activities including sortation and general tasks when appropriate
