Job Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months of verifiable experience in the last 3 years with no more than 3 employers driving a 24-26 foot box truck
- no speeding tickets more than 15 mph over the posted speed limit in the past 3 years
- valid driver's license
- must live within a reasonable commute (no more than 30-40 minutes) from our terminal
- HazMat and Tank endorsement preferred
- CDL drivers must agree to obtain HazMat endorsement upon hire with full reimbursement
- pass pre-employment DOT drug screen
- DOT medical card
- clean motor vehicle record and CSA score with no more than 2 moving violations in past 12 months or 3 in past 3 years
- willingness to do retail store deliveries with early morning start times (3am-6am) when necessary
- be able to lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds unassisted
- provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum of 18 months verifiable experience driving 24-26 foot box trucks in the last 3 years
- clean motor vehicle record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months or 3 in the past 3 years
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds
- valid driver’s license
- good communication skills
- willingness to work early morning hours when necessary
Job Duties
- Drive box truck safely and efficiently on local and regional routes
- maintain regular communication with dispatch and customers
- perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- load and unload freight, safely handling up to 70 pounds
- comply with all DOT regulations and company policies
- provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- manage delivery schedules to meet customer expectations
