Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old to deliver (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- possess a valid driver’s license number
- have a social security number (for U.S. residents)
- consistent access to a smartphone
- complete eligibility verification and pass ID checks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior delivery or customer service experience is an asset
- ability to use smartphone apps effectively
- good navigation and time management skills
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- reliable and self-motivated work ethic
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants or stores
- deliver orders to customers promptly and safely
- use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage and accept delivery requests
- communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner
- maintain order accuracy and quality during delivery
- handle multiple deliveries efficiently when assigned
- follow traffic laws and safety guidelines
