Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to operate and maintain pumping equipment
- ability to perform minor maintenance and inspections
- knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance including OSHA, FDA, DOT, EPA
- ability to complete accurate records and documentation
- forklift operation capability preferred
- prior experience in industrial, medical or specialty gases filling preferred
- ability to comply with shift work schedules including occasional overtime
- physical ability to handle cylinder loading and unloading
- strong attention to safety and detail
- ability to work as part of a team
- valid CDL license preferred for route backup driver duties

- ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables where limited standardization exists
- ability to read and interpret safety rules and safety data sheets in English
Job Duties
- operate safely and maintain equipment for pumping or repackaging gases into cylinders
- perform minor maintenance of equipment and inspection of cylinders prior to filling
- use standard pre-fill and post-fill inspections, tests, and operating procedures before cylinders are released
- regularly inspect and maintain pumping apparatus and associated pressure gauges and monitoring devices
- fill cylinders or containers to proper capacity and accurately maintain cylinder filling records
- complete daily fill sheets and cylinder filling records accurately and timely
- complete and attach warning and other identification tags, labels and decals to cylinders
- unload and load cylinders onto delivery trucks using cylinder carts and/or lift gate
- conduct periodic checks of the plant/warehouse for safe and efficient operation
- ensure any accident or injury is promptly reported and comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- comply with shift work schedules and work occasional overtime to meet operational deadlines
- maintain a clean, safe and orderly plant/warehouse appearance
- conduct a variety of safety checks per procedure, such as odor tests, checking caps and valves and accurately labeling cylinders
- operate forklift and other equipment as required
- assist with inventory and housekeeping as required
- assist with filling cylinders in other areas of the facility
- perform other duties and projects as assigned
