Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- ability to stand for long periods

Job Qualifications

- previous experience in food service or customer service preferred
- ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- familiarity with point-of-sale systems preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
- reliable and punctual
- basic math skills for handling payments
Job Duties
- Complete opening and closing checklists
- prepare a variety of meats, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking using kitchen equipment
- understand and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and restaurant policies
- handle, store and rotate all products properly
- maintain a clean and sanitary work and service areas including tables, shelves, walls, ovens, and refrigeration equipment
- take food orders from guests and accurately enter orders in point-of-sale system
- accept payment, process credit card charges or provide change accurately
- handle phone orders professionally and collect necessary information
- monitor guest dining experience and ensure satisfaction
- respond promptly and courteously to any requests
- fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- attend all scheduled employee meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement
- promptly report safety, equipment and food quality problems to manager
- inform manager of product shortages
- perform other duties as assigned by manager-on-duty
