Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and maneuvering merchandise
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Valid driver s license for delivery driver associate positions
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and handle equipment safely

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service or retail environment is an asset
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of merchandise and store layout
  • Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and moving merchandise
  • Valid driver s license if applying for delivery driver associate

Job Duties

  • Execute all steps of the order fulfillment process within the store
  • Scheduling/prioritizing all deliveries for the store and communicating any availability and/or limitations to fellow associates
  • Approaching and greeting customers
  • Asking open-ended questions and expressing interest in projects in order to put the customer at ease, determine the customer s level of expertise and determine customer needs
  • Answering questions about merchandise knowledge for the customer s level of expertise
  • Leading customers to merchandise that fits their needs
  • Checking aisles to make sure inventory is stacked neatly and out of the way of customers
