Job Requirements
- Current and valid drivers’ license
- Professional demeanor, behavior, and appearance in accordance with company policy
- Ability to perform all essential functions safely without endangering oneself or others
- Ability to comply with local and state health code requirements for soda fountain and food service sales
- Meet local and state minimum age requirements for sale of tobacco and alcohol sales
- Ability to complete all required trainings and certifications required to perform any of the required functions
Job Qualifications
- Be friendly and engaging with a positive attitude and a will to succeed
- Experience in customer service, retail, or sales preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Provide excellent and timely customer service to create a pleasant experience for customers
- Pro-actively greet customers entering the convenience store, pay terminal area, or fuel pumps and be responsive to their needs
- Effectively present and sell car wash services, memberships, and additional purchase options to customers to achieve sales and revenue goals for the location
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized environment to ensure a positive visit for every customer including outside and inside areas
- Keep convenience store merchandise stocked and organized, displays clean and well presented
- Maintain point-of-sale transaction, sales, and cash drawer integrity by following procedures accurately
- Follow Waterway policies, procedures, guidance, and instructions, including those related to safety
