Job Requirements
- Completion of ninth grade
- Ability to work from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM Monday through Friday
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Ability to complete required training prescribed by Facilities Services Training and Education Department
- Willingness to adhere to Building Services Standard Operating Procedures and Facilities Services Policies
- Passing a criminal background check
- Passing a post-offer health assessment
- Authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Two years of commercial custodial experience
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
- Good physical condition to perform custodial tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous custodial work experience preferred
- Basic communication skills
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain all halls, offices, shops, classrooms, restrooms, conference rooms, labs, gym areas, locker rooms, elevators including sweeping, dusting, dust-mopping, wet-mopping, spot-mopping, reconditioning floors and spot cleaning walls, doors, and partitions
- Clean and maintain all floors and floor coverings through vacuuming, shampooing, striping, sealing, and waxing
- Clean all entrances, entrance walks, steps, patios, and concourses
- Spot clean all exterior and interior glass surfaces of assigned buildings
- Clean ceiling lights and Venetian blinds
- Empty and clean waste cans, trashcans, recycle bins, water fountains and doormats
- Perform other assigned duties
