Job Requirements
- Completion of ninth grade
- valid Class E Driver’s License
- successful criminal background check
- physical examination
- ability to work evening shifts
- willingness to perform overtime
- ability to lift and move heavy objects
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- two years of commercial custodial experience
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- attention to detail
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
- valid Class E Driver’s License
Job Duties
- Cleans and maintains all halls, offices, shops, classrooms, restrooms, conference rooms, break rooms, kitchenettes, laboratories, gym areas, locker rooms daily
- sweeps, dusts, dust-mops, wet-mops, spot-mops, spot washes and cleans walls, doors, and partitions
- cleans and disinfects all surfaces and touch points including elevators and water fountains
- maintains entrances, entrance walks, mats, steps, stairwells, patios, and concourses
- maintains floors and floor coverings including vacuuming, shampooing, burnishing, stripping, sealing, and waxing
- spot cleans all exterior and interior glass surfaces, ceiling lights, and Venetian blinds
- empties and cleans all waste cans, trashcans, and recycle bins
- properly recycles all waste
