Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in food service operations
- basic understanding of food safety and health regulations
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- strong communication and leadership skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- willingness to complete sanitation course if not already certified
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
- completion of sanitation course prior to or within the first year of employment
- ability to manage food service programs to optimize costs and efficiency
- capability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to manage stress and regulate emotions effectively
- skill in resolving interpersonal conflicts
- previous supervisory experience in food service is preferred
Job Duties
- Create and manage employee schedules
- compile production packets
- supervise day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient operations
- uphold food safety and quality standards
- maintain proper food storage and sanitation
- record and monitor food safety and temperatures
- update inventory weekly
- manage equipment maintenance records
- conduct routine maintenance inspections
- monitor and assess staff performance
- provide guidance and support to food service staff
- maintain a safe work environment
- cover for absent staff as needed
- communicate regularly with employees
- participate in team meetings
- foster positive relationships among team members and clients
- coordinate catering schedules and event preparations
- work occasional evenings and weekends for events
- perform cashier duties
- assist with projects assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
