Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or culinary supervision preferred
  • completion of sanitation training prior to or within the first year of employment
  • basic math skills
  • ability to work full-time including sporadic evening and weekend hours
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
  • completion of a sanitation course prior to or within the first year of employment
  • skill in managing food service programs to optimize costs and efficiency
  • ability to perform basic mathematical computations
  • strong organizational and attention to detail skills
  • ability to regulate emotions effectively under pressure
  • skill in addressing interpersonal conflicts efficiently

Job Duties

  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • compile production packets
  • supervise day-to-day tasks to guarantee efficient functioning
  • uphold food production safety and quality standards
  • ensure food products are stored safely and orderly
  • maintain hygienic conditions in compliance with health regulations
  • fill out food safety and temperature records accurately
  • update inventory weekly
  • keep records of equipment maintenance needs
  • perform routine maintenance inspections
  • monitor and assess staff performance
  • provide guidance to food service staff
  • maintain a safe work environment
  • cover for missing staff members when necessary
  • communicate regularly with employees
  • participate in staff meetings
  • promote positive relationships among team members and clients
  • stay updated on catering schedules
  • prepare for sporadic evening and weekend catering events
  • fulfill cashier duties
  • assist with additional tasks as assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
