Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or culinary supervision preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • strong communication and leadership abilities
  • knowledge of food safety standards and regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives is necessary
  • Completion of a sanitation course is required either prior to or within the initial year of employment
  • Skilled in effectively managing a food service program to optimize costs and efficiency
  • Capability to execute fundamental mathematical computations
  • Demonstrating effective abilities in organization and meticulousness
  • The capacity to regulate emotions effectively when faced with pressure

Job Duties

  • The position of Culinary Supervisor involves overseeing the operations within a food service establishment
  • We are looking to recruit full-time Culinary Supervisors to become part of our dedicated Food Services Team
  • Working closely with a manager who will organize and guide activities, you will be responsible for managing employees, working closely with team members, and providing support wherever necessary

  • Scheduling tasks and managing production processes in the workplace:
  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • compile production packets
  • Supervise the day-to-day tasks to guarantee efficient functioning
  • Orders may be readied as necessary to guarantee precise manufacturing at the site
  • Ensuring the high standard of food is essential for maintaining its quality and safety standards:
  • Uphold food production to guarantee safety and excellence, following established policies, protocols, and departmental criteria
  • Make sure that food products are kept in a secure and well-arranged setting that is free of potential dangers
  • Uphold all designated serving times and ensure meals are distributed in accordance with the menu requirements safely and correctly, adhering to Aramark guidelines
  • Uphold a hygienic division in compliance with health and safety statutes
  • Make sure that all records documenting food safety and temperatures are filled out accurately, including taking the necessary steps to address any issues that arise
  • Maintenance of Inventory and Equipment involves the regular upkeep and management of stock and tools:
  • Ensure that the inventory is updated weekly with precision
  • Keep records of the maintenance needs of equipment in the department
  • Implementation of routine maintenance inspections and suggesting necessary equipment upgrades to fulfill the requirements of the facility
  • Supervising and developing employees involves overseeing and enhancing their performance within the workplace:
  • Monitor and assess staff performance to foster development, productivity, motivation, and collaboration among team members
  • Provide guidance and support to food service staff to ensure they adhere to operational guidelines
  • Operations and Communication in a Broad Context:
  • Keep the working environment safe and free from hazards
  • Cover for missing staff members when required to do so
  • Keep in touch with employees on a regular basis
  • Participate in gatherings with food service employees
  • Encourage positive relationships and communication among team members and clients to foster strong public relations
  • Organizing Events and Additional Responsibilities:
  • Stay updated on daily catering schedules to guarantee timely preparation and delivery of events
  • Be ready to work sporadic evening and weekend catering functions
  • Fulfill responsibilities associated with cashier tasks
  • Help with additional tasks as required by the Food Service Director or Manager, utilizing your expertise and background to start, organize, or finalize any specified project
