Job Requirements

  • Previous culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to lead and train kitchen staff

Job Duties

  • Supervise and train culinary and dietary staff ensuring adherence to community standards and state regulations
  • Plan and manage daily meal preparation service quality and menu consistency
  • Coordinate with the Executive Director and Health & Wellness Director to meet residents' dietary needs and preferences
  • Maintain inventory control manage food and supply orders and ensure cost-effective operations
  • Monitor food safety sanitation and kitchen cleanliness to meet all regulatory requirements
  • Engage with residents regularly to gather feedback and promote satisfaction with dining services
  • Support budgeting scheduling and record-keeping for the culinary department
