- One to two years kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain government-required licenses, certificates, or permits
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as per The Umstead Hotel standards

Job Duties
- Lead by example through hands-on involvement in all kitchen production and service
- Represent the Executive Chef's core values of quality, sanitation, and fair treatment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workplace
- Follow the guidelines set by the Executive Chef and Chef De Cuisine
- Report directly to the Chef De Cuisine and/or Sous Chef team
- Ensure adherence to grooming standards as per The Umstead Hotel
- Support team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
