Job Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read and write English
  • high school diploma, GED, or 1-3 months related experience or training preferred
  • must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 months related experience or training preferred
  • experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, cooking, plating, culinary arts, or hospitality preferred
  • caring and compassionate attitude for others
  • strong customer service focus
  • ability to multitask
  • ability to work collaboratively with others
  • thorough understanding of sanitation and infection control practices

Job Duties

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff
  • adhere to menus and recipes, special dietary needs, correct portioning of food, food presentation, and proper serving methods as instructed by the executive chef
  • attend to residents’ individual dietary needs when taking and delivering food orders from residents and their guests
  • maintain comfort, privacy, and dignity of our residents
  • work under the supervision of and take instruction from the executive chef and sous chef
