Job Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license with a driving record indicating safe driving history acceptable to the company
- ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen (No THC) to the extent legally permissible
- must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role
- basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications)
- full-time associates must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift
- ability to lift up to 70lbs, push and pull items weighing up to 400 lbs with assistance of hand carts/material handling equipment, and occasionally maneuver up to 130 lbs
- must wear safety composite shoes
- must be at least 21 years of age
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with safe driving history
- ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen with no THC
- ability to obtain a 6-month DOT medical card
- basic English language skills both verbal and written
- ability to lift up to 70lbs and push or pull items up to 400lbs with assistance
- minimum 1-year truck driving experience operating a 16ft or longer straight truck
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- high volume or small package delivery experience
- proficiency with technology including GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery devices
Job Duties
- Drive various route assignments to cover vacations and absences at least 50% of the time
- provide outstanding customer service by resolving problems and accepting product returns
- transport products safely and deliver office supplies on assigned routes
- load vehicles depending on volume
- organize and load product for delivery using manifests to ensure efficient routes and schedules
- ensure safe work practices and promote safety culture
- perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
