Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months courier experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Meet federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Pass medical exam according to FMCSA or FAA regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months courier experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of local service area
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and maneuver packages with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages courteously and efficiently
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
- Perform related customer service functions
- Adhere to all safety and driving regulations
- Maintain valid driver's license and good driving record
- Perform other duties as assigned
