Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- six months courier experience preferred
- knowledge of the station's service area preferred
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- neat appearance
- meet and maintain federal motor carrier safety regulations
- valid driver’s license according to state requirements
- good driving record
- pass medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations
- at least 21 years of age
- ability to work alertly and safely
- compliance with company vehicle operation policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- demonstrate area knowledge
- good human relations and verbal communication skills
- ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
- adaptability and dependability
- excellent courier methods
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials
- at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages
- check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
- provide related customer service functions
- perform other duties as assigned
