Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with assistance or equipment
- must have valid driver's license with good driving record
- meet and maintain federal motor carrier safety standards
- pass medical exam as per FMCSA regulations
- neat appearance and customer service orientation
- ability to work alert and safely under various conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum six months courier experience preferred
- ability to demonstrate knowledge of the service area
- ability to read, speak, and understand English
- good verbal communication skills
- demonstrated dependability and adaptability
- must be at least 21 years old
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features
- provide coverage for all assigned routes within the service area
- perform related customer service functions
- follow federal motor carrier safety regulations while driving
- maintain neat appearance and professional conduct
- perform other duties as assigned
