Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months courier experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance or equipment
- Meet and maintain FMCSA or FAA medical exam requirements
- Valid driver's license with good driving record as per state and FedEx policy
- Meet federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Neat appearance and customer relation skills
- Ability to work safely in a constant state of alertness
Job Qualifications

- Demonstrated area knowledge
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of station's service area preferred
- Skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic and safety communications
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
- Offer related customer service functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
