Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- at least six months courier experience preferred
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- must be at least 21 years old
- valid driver’s license with good driving record
- must pass medical exam according to FMCSA or FAA regulations
- ability to maintain alertness and safe driving
- neat appearance
- must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations
- ability to read and understand English
- comply with company policy 4-48 requirements for vehicle operation
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of the station's service area
- good human relations and verbal communication skills
- ability to read and speak English sufficient to understand traffic signs and communicate with safety officials
- adaptability and dependability
- ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- must be at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Operates company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages
- checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
- provides related customer service functions
- maintains neat appearance since customer contact is required
- complies with federal motor carrier safety regulations and company policies
- performs other duties as assigned
