Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- minimum six months courier experience preferred
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with proper equipment or assistance
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- at least 21 years of age
- valid driver's license with good driving record
- ability to meet federal motor carrier safety regulations
- ability to work safely and in a state of constant alertness
- neat appearance suitable for customer contact
Job Qualifications

- demonstrated knowledge of local area
- ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance or equipment
- good human relations and verbal communication skills
- adaptability and dependability
- valid driver's license with clean driving record
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently for safety and communication purposes
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages
- check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
- provide related customer service functions
- perform other duties as assigned
- adhere to federal motor carrier safety regulations
- maintain neat appearance and professional conduct in customer interactions
