Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Six months courier experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs and respond to inquiries
- Must meet and maintain federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Neat appearance required
- Must pass a medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations

Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
- Provide related customer service functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
