Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months courier experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Must pass medical exam as per FMCSA or FAA
- Must maintain valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to work with alertness and safety
- Neat appearance for customer contact
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months courier experience preferred
- Demonstrated area knowledge
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic signs and official communication
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Knowledge of station's service area preferred
- Skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
Job Duties
- Operates company vehicles for delivery and pick up of packages
- Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
- Offers related customer service functions
- Maintains neat appearance during customer interactions
- Complies with federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
