Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least six months courier experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 pounds with assistance or equipment
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Meet federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Ability to maintain neat appearance
- Ability to communicate in English sufficiently
- Passing medical exam as per FMCSA or FAA regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months courier experience preferred
- Knowledge of the station's service area
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- Demonstrated adaptability and dependability
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles for delivery and pickup of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide coverage for all assigned routes within service area
- Perform related customer service functions
- Maintain neat appearance and professional conduct
- Adhere to federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Respond to official inquiries and directions as necessary
