Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months courier experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
- Ability to comply with FMCSA or FAA medical and safety regulations
- Neat appearance
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with assistance or equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months courier experience preferred
- Ability to demonstrate area knowledge
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
- Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- At least 21 years old
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages courteously and efficiently
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
- Perform related customer service functions
- Maintain adherence to federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Follow company policies for vehicle operation and safety
- Perform other duties as assigned
