Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months courier experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of station's service area preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to read and speak English
- Must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations
- SIDA clearance required for airport access
- Must obtain CDL within 60 days
- Neat appearance
- Must comply with company policy 4-48 for vehicle operation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six (6) months courier experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
- Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- SIDA clearance for airport access preferred
- Must obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 60 days
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
- Provide related customer service functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
