Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months courier experience preferred
- Must demonstrate area knowledge
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 pounds with equipment or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of station’s service area preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and speak English
- Neat appearance
- Must meet federal motor carrier safety qualifications
- Must pass medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Must obtain and maintain valid driver’s license
- Good driving record
- Ability to maintain constant alertness and safe driving
- Able to work full time Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Ability to perform customer service duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt and work dependably
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic and safety compliance
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages courteously and efficiently
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
- Perform related customer service functions
- Follow all federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Perform other duties as assigned
