Job Requirements
- Must meet and maintain federal motor carrier safety regulations
- valid driver's license with good driving record
- ability to pass medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations
- neat appearance
- ability to work in constant alertness and safe manner
- must obtain and maintain valid driver's license per state requirements
- demonstrate area knowledge
- ability to lift and maneuver packages over 50 lbs with assistance
- must be at least 21 years old
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- six months courier experience preferred
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- good human relations and verbal communication skills
- thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
- demonstrated adaptability and dependability
- must be at least 21 years of age
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
Job Duties
- Operates company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages
- to check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
- provides related customer service functions
- performs other duties as assigned
