Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license compliant with state requirements
- Good driving record as outlined in company policy
- Minimum six months courier experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver heavy packages with equipment or assistance
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to maintain alertness and comply with federal safety regulations
- Neat appearance
- Must meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations
- Non-covered safety-sensitive position
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license compliant with state requirements
- Good driving record as outlined in company policy
- Minimum six months of courier experience preferred
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages up to 50 lbs
- Good communication and human relations skills
- Knowledge of the station’s service area preferred
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- At least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages courteously and efficiently
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features
- Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
- Perform related customer service functions
- Maintain alertness and adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations
- Lift and maneuver packages up to 50 lbs using appropriate equipment or assistance
- Maintain neat appearance and professionalism during customer interactions
