Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- none required prior experience
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- must be at least 21 years of age
- ability to communicate in English
- must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned
- medical exam required
- ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely
- neat appearance since customer contact is required
- must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations and undergo medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- good human relations and verbal communication skills
- effective verbal communication in noisy operations environment
- must be at least 21 years of age
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials
- must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations
- must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
Job Duties
- Operates company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- provide related customer service functions
- perform other duties as assigned
