Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- no prior experience required
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to maneuver packages weighing over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
- good human relations and verbal communications skills
- ability to communicate verbally in a time-sensitive manner in a noisy environment
- must be at least 21 years old
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials
- must have a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle assigned
- must pass a medical exam
- must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations
- neat appearance since customer contact is required

- check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
