Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED (preferred)
- 2 years experience driving commercial vehicles (preferred)
- commercial drivers license (CDL) - DMV upon hire (required)
- certified auto external defibrillator (AED) - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) upon hire (required)
- first aid - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) upon hire (required)
- drives personal vehicle for RHS business 25% or more of the time to perform essential functions of the job
- valid drivers license required

Job Duties
- demonstrates positive customer service behaviors consistently
- strives to meet/exceed the needs of the facility's customers/residents by demonstrating flexibility and sense of urgency to create a service excellence experience
- responsible for assuring safe practices in accordance with RHS policies and procedures
- responsible for notifying Transportation Coordinator or Director of Resident Services when required vehicle maintenance is needed
- demonstrates the ability to plan transportation routes to decrease vehicle mileage and gas consumption
- completes paperwork to ensure that all records are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- maintains transportation and maintenance logs for facility vehicles as well as logging residents participation on facility outings
- demonstrates the ability to prioritize and accomplish assignments with accuracy and timeliness
- maintains positive interactions with fellow team members, residents and visitors
- assists customers with billing inquiries, questions or concerns
- provides follow up in a timely manner
