Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to work part-time hours Monday through Saturday 1 PM to 7 PM with flexible day off
- Completion of medical exam in accordance with FMCSA regulations
- Compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations section 391
- Ability to communicate in English
- Good physical condition to safely perform duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver heavy packages with equipment or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Neat appearance
- Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license held for the previous three years preferred
Job Duties
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Perform related customer service functions
- Operate company vehicles safely in compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain neat appearance and professionalism during customer interactions
- Ensure adherence to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
