Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle type
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to maneuver packages heavier than 50 lbs with assistance or equipment
- good human relations and verbal communication skills
- neat appearance
- meets qualifications outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations
- medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- ability to work alertly and safely
- at least 21 years old
- ability to read and speak English sufficient to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials

Job Duties
- drives and operates company vehicles to deliver and pick-up packages
- checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards
- provides excellent customer service during delivery and pick-up
- adheres to safety protocols and regulations including federal motor carrier safety regulations
- performs package lifting and maneuvering using appropriate equipment or assistance
- maintains neat and professional appearance as required by customer contact
- completes other duties as assigned
