Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand and respond to traffic signs and official inquiries
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Licensed for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs. with equipment or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials
Job Duties
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide related customer service functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Maintain a neat appearance since customer contact is required
- Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
